Just a personal opinion - the name of the parameter seems a bit 
redundant, I would find the shorter version of 'reason_from_hf' quite 
suggestive, indicating it is going to be taken from the header field. 
Having two times the 'reason' in the parameter name looks a bit odd 
(could be only me).

However, it can stay as it is now, I just wanted to debate a bit.
