    any is fine for me if you think is more appropriate for the class
    name of the new pv. Just wanted not to have lot of new vars, but
    better a class to know is related to a particular module/component.<br>

                it is ok, but I would go to create a new class of
                variables, because more can be needed in the future from
                presence details.<br>

                I think you can go for $pres(uri) for this case, which
                will allow other $pres(xyz) in the future.<br>
