[Serusers] sems

Hi, 

I have encountering this problem when I try to run voicemail.cfg coding. May
I know what is going wrong and how to know that sems is running and how to
start? I have tried /usr/local/sbin/sems -f (config file) I encountered
errors, is this the way to start the service.....please help....
