[Serusers] SerWeb authentication fails -- FIXED

Hi,
You just gave me an idea when you mentioned cookies..
I have only tried this with various versions of Mozilla, I use Firefox 0.8
on my office PC and
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.2.1) Gecko/20030225 on the lab
boxes.
Just tried Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 on the office PC and it works!
I had added the labbox-b.noclan.lan to the hosts file on the windows PC so
it would send the correct http request to satisfy Apache and bingo it works.
I can't believe I have tried so many things over the last 2 very long days.
After the weekend I will try and summarise this and post to the list for
future reference.
I'm going for a well overdue coffee.
Thanks to all the people on the list for your advice and suggestions, it is
very probable that I had several problems that culminated in with browser
issue. Certainly the http request needs to match the domain your admin user
is in.
Just need to fix the links to the images etc and I will have a happy boss :)
