[Serusers] Noob Info

Hi all,

I'm a complete noob in using ser. But I was able to "make" ser and start it. 
But when I do so I only get feedback about what port ser is listening to 
etc. How can I work with ser? Where can I configure it?
Does anyone know a place where I can get like introductional information 
about using ser?

btw: my version is ser-0.10.99-dev35-pa-4_src.tar.gz
