<DIV>Dear friends,<BR>If you are new to SER like I am, please note the
followings:</DIV>
<DIV>Setup: Red Hat Linux 9.0 or Red Hat Enterprise ES 3 and SER version
0.9.3.</DIV>

<DIV>1. When you try to load mysql.so module for your ser, you get an error.
bad config. if you do</DIV>
<DIV>ser -D -E . The result shows that mysql.so was unable to load due to
libmysqlclient.so.12 was not found.</DIV>

<DIV>Please note that the above mentioned Red Hat Linux includes a MySQL
server version 3.23 which does not include the above file. If you do prefer to
upgrade your mysql server please do not upgrade it to MySQL 5.0 rather upgrade
it to 4.15.</DIV>
<DIV>You are note done yet. Go to mysql.com and try to find out the following
rpm file:</DIV>
