I did some RFC study on outbound configuration for routing calls both inbound and outbound through outbound proxy.<br>According to RFC 3327 Extension Header field for Registering Non-Adjacent contacts, PATH variable has to be introduced into REGISTRATIONS.<br><br>Here are few questions and any help with answers is greatly appreciated.<br><br>1. Default openser.cfg will route request to destination if (URI != myself) and appends p-hint:outbound.<br><br>What exactly is the significance of
P-hint:outbound?<br><br>http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-sip-outbound-15 says ob parameter has to be added to PATH filed or Contact Field to retain path.
