well, actually I do not know whether it was a bug or not but I think that it was not a bug.<br>This is why:<br><br>1- I tried the first solution provided and it did not work for me [change the lib to lib64 approach etc ]. So I reverted the changes.<br><br>2- Then Zahid told me to check whether I had openssl-devel for 64 bits and I did not have it, so I installed it and the compilation went smoothly.<br><br>before installing openssl-devel for 64 bits I had:<br><br>[root@proxy1 ~]# find / -name "libssl.so"<br>/usr/lib/libssl.so<br>[root@proxy1 ~]#<br><br>after installing it I have the 2 versions:<br><br>[root@proxy1 ~]# find / -name "libssl.so"<br>/usr/lib/libssl.so<br>/usr/lib64/libssl.so<br>[root@proxy1 ~]#<br><br>thank you very much for your help<br><div>
