I've used asterisk for some time then I heard about FreeSWITCH unfortunately FreeSWITCH was not good enough for me like Asterisk. I've found NAT problem with Asterisk Finally I've decided to work with Kamailio as SIP server & Asterisk as PBX. to be fair I need to learn more about FreeSWICH to test it well.<br><br> My Question is about Kamailio installation; I am using FreeBSD 9 attached my <b><u>uname -a</u></b><br><br>FreeBSD PBX.XXXXX 9.1-RELEASE FreeBSD 9.1-RELEASE #0 r243826: Tue Dec 4 06:55:39 UTC 2012 root@obrian.cse.buffalo.edu:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC i386<br><br>I've used <u><b>gmake</b></u> for building, compiling and installation. Everything goes smooth EXCEPT mysql db installation when I use <u><b>sh /usr/local/sbin/kamdbctl create</b></u><br><br>I am getting the following error:<br><br><u><b>/usr/local/lib/kamailio//kamctl/kamdbctl.base: 36: Syntax error: Missing '}'</b></u><br><br>Thanks a lot for your valuable time and that amazing project (Kamailio).<br><br>Amr<br> </div></body>
