take a look at the /var/log/messages like<br>

# tail -n 200 /var/log/messages | grep kamailio<br>

installed kamailio as root and <br>
kamailio (look at the /etc/defaults/kamailio) is trying to
start as user=kamailio and group=kamailio<br>
