the ka_timer feature is not implementing the SIP session refreshing
timer, but a pinging of the endpoints from kamailio to detect if any
of the endpoints goes off the network.<br>
<br>
The re-INVITE would require a B2BUA, because it is a renegotiation
of session parameters.<br>
